Flashes Host Malone in Fall Ball Tune Up

KENT - The Golden Flashes welcome in the Malone Pioneers Wednesday evening for their 2023 home fall ball game.
First pitch is set for 6 p.m. inside Schoonover Stadium. The Flashes are coming into the fall looking to build off of a very successful spring campaign where they went 42-16 overall and an impressive 22-1 on their home turf on their way to a regular-season MAC championship.
Kent State came out on top 7-1 when these two teams faced off last fall, all six Golden Flashes pitchers struck out two Pioneers and combined for 16 total. Jake Casey delivered the big blow with a bases-clearing double as part of a five-run second inning.
Wednesday's game will have free admission for all. Live stats will be available for the game, the link will be on Kent State Baseball's social media pages. The Flashes will be in action next when they travel and play Seton Hill on October 14th.
