
Flashes Head to Morgantown to Face WVU and Duke

MORGANTOWN- The Golden Flashes hit the road this weekend, traveling to Morgantown on Sunday to take on the host Mountaineers and the Duke Blue Devils as part of the West Virginia Quad Meet.
The Golden Flashes will take on the host Mountaineers first in a match that will stream on ESPN+ starting at 1 p.m. They will take on the Duke Blue Devils later in the afternoon in a match that will not be streamed.
Kent State is coming into Morgantown off the Clarion Open. Pablo Castro (133) and Billy Meiszner (141) each went 5-1 last weekend in the Open and are penciled in to start on Sunday. Kyle Snider (184) picked up a pair of wins including one over Carson Miller of #10 Pitt, he will start at 184 pounds on Sunday.
This will be the first meeting between the Duke Blue Devils and the Golden Flashes and the first meeting since 2021 between the Flashes and Mountaineers and the eighth meeting all time. Kent State owns a 4-3 all-time lead but the squads will meet for just the third time since 2001.
The projected lineups for all three teams is listed below. Kent State will be back in action next weekend at the Navy Classic on Saturday, November 18th.
