Usoz Earns NFHCA All-Region Honors

GENEVA, N.Y. — Kent State freshman Eva Usoz received NFHCA All-West Region Second Team honors, as the National Field Hockey Coaches Association announced members of the 2023 Division 1 All-Region Teams on Wednesday.

Usoz led the Golden Flashes with 22 points in her debut season, scoring a team-high nine assists and recording four assists to share the team lead. She was named Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year and selected to the All-MAC First Team.
