Previewing the Flashes
Baidy Ba continued his stellar junior season with a fourth-place finish at the Mid-American Conference Championships to earn All-MAC First Team accolades for the second year in a row. Ba has placed in the top-four in every race this season, including a victory in the Orange 8K race at Pre-Nationals on Oct. 14, and looks to be in the hunt for a NCAA Championships individual spot once again after finishing seventh at last year's NCAA Great Lakes Regional with a Golden Flashes 10K record time of 30:07.0.
Senior Ethan Yost and sophomore Dylan McBride are coming off strong performances at the conference meet, finishing 27th and 28th, respectively. Yost has been the second across the finish line for Kent State in all five races he's competed this season.
Junior Ariana Manos finished 62nd to lead the women at the MAC Championships. Junior Sydney Gallagher has been the first Flash across the finish line in three races this season, with junior Lany Straub pacing the team at the remaining meet.
