Gymnastics Unveils 2023-24 Promotional Schedule

KENT, Ohio -Â The Kent State gymnastics team has announced its promotional schedule for an action-packed 2023-24 season.
The home schedule features five opportunities to see your Golden Flashes at the M.A.C. Center, starting with the annual Blue-Gold Scrimmage on Sunday, Dec. 10, at 1 p.m.Â

Meet #1: Intra-squad Exhibition - Sunday, December 10 (1 p.m.):Â Blue-Gold Meet
- Fans, Kent State Gymnastics is back in the M.A.C. Center for an exciting new season! Get your first look at the 2023-24 Golden Flashes at our annual "Blue vs. Gold" Meet. All fans will receive free admission, and giveaways include water bottles, koozies, and our first post-event poster signing and meet-and-greet with the 2023-2024 Golden Flashes Gymnastics Team!
Meet #2: Sunday, January 28 vs. West Virginia (1 p.m.):Â Barbie Pink Meet | Youth Day
- One of everybody's favorite Kent State Athletics traditions – The Pink Meet – returns to the MAC Center as Kent State Gymnastics begins the 2024 regular season – this year, with a Barbie twist! All fans are strongly encouraged to wear pink as we stand together in the fight against breast cancer. Fans will be able to receive a plethora of pink-themed giveaways upon arrival and can participate in pink themed activities throughout the meet!
- This event will serve as our Youth Day, and Kent State Gymnastics is inviting all offseason camp participants back to the M.A.C.C. for a day full of fun!
- This will also be our annual flaSHEs WILL event, in partnership with the Kent State Women's Center!
Meet #3: Sunday, February 11 vs. Northern Illinois (1 p.m.):Â Dreaming of Warmer WeatherÂ
While it may be cold and snowy outside, it's always sunny and 70 inside the MAC Center! Pull your best summer outfits out of storage, put on some sunscreen, and join us for a day filled with fun beach-themed activities. Giveaways include KSU themed beach towels, beach balls, frisbees, and more!
Meet #4: Sunday, March 3 vs. Eastern Michigan (1 p.m.):Â Hometown Heroes Day
- Kent, Ohio wouldn't be what it is without the first responders and caretakers who serve and protect our community each and every day. That's why Kent State Gymnastics is dedicating this event to our "Hometown Heroes"! All active and retired nurses and first responders will receive free admission, and giveaways include KSU Gymnastics Lunch Boxes, First responder badges, and replica fire fighter hats.Â
Meet #5: Sunday, March 17 vs. Bowling Green (1 p.m.):Â Senior Day | Olympic Day
- Join Kent State Gymnastics as we honor our senior class and all of their accomplishments here at Kent State University!
- Kent State Gymnastics will also be celebrating the upcoming 2024 Olympic games featuring Olympic-themed activities and giveaways.
