KENT- A new era begins this season for Kent State football and with that a new benefits package for Kent State football season ticket holders.
The Golden Flashes will have five home games in the first season of the Kent GRIT era under new head coach Kenni Burns. The Flashes will host Central Connecticut State on Saturday, September 16th during the non-conference slate. Bowling Green, Buffalo, Miami, and Northern Illinois will all make the trek to Dix Stadium during conference play. The MAC game days and times have not yet been determined.
This year, season ticket holders will receive some added benefits as a part of their ticket package. In addition to the discounted ticket rate, fans will receive an invite to the annual donor appreciation night in the President's Loge for the senior night game. Fans will also receive TWO season ticket holder gifts, a schedule magnet as well as a Kent GRIT hard hat signed by Coach Burns.
All season ticket holders will also be added to the email list for messages from Coach Burns as well as receive invites to Zoom calls with Coach Burns as he virtually meets with fans and donors throughout the year.
"We are excited to start the Kent GRIT era under Coach Burns," Director of Ticketing Andrew Hammond said. "These gifts tie into the team's identity and will offer fans an opportunity to get an inside look at our football program."
Season tickets for the 2023 season start at 60 dollars for general admission. Chair back season tickets for fans looking to upgrade to section four are 85 dollars. Kent State faculty and staff receive a ten-dollar discount on their season ticket package. Questions about tickets for the President's Loge can be directed to the Golden Flashes Club.
