Game 2: Kent State 9, Ohio 3
The Golden Flashes totaled a season-high 15 hits to win the series finale. Julia Mazanec and Reagan Schultz led the way with three hits each, as Kent State had six players post multi-hit games.
Mazanec recorded her first hit of the game in the top of the second, bringing home Savannah Wing to tie it at 1-1.

The Bobcats plated a single run again in the bottom of the third for a 3-2 lead.
Schultz started the top of the fourth with a single to left field and then moved into scoring position on a sac bunt by Jade Ramer. A walk and error loaded the bases, and Robeson cleared them with her second double of the game for a 6-3 lead.
Ramer scored on a passed ball in the fifth to make it 7-3. Whitmore drove in a pair of insurance runs with a triple in the seventh.
Anilese Kelly (4-10) held the Bobcats to three runs on four hits over five innings for the victory. Macy Irelan had two strikeouts while tossing two scoreless innings in relief to finish the game.
