Miami Game Set for a 2:30 PM Kick-Off: What You Need to Know

KENT- Game time for the Saturday, September 30th home game against Miami has been set for 2:30 p.m. and will air on ESPN+ and the Kent State Radio Network as announced by the Mid-American Conference.
Next Saturday's game will be Parents and Family Weekend as Kent State students and their families will pack Dix Stadium to cheer on the Flashes. Everyone that registers for Parents and Family Weekend will receive a complimentary belt bag, can join the pre-game tailgate and a halftime dessert social. Gates will open at 1 p.m. for the 2:30 kick-off and fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance at KSUTix.com.
In addition to Parents and Family weekend, it will be high school band day as area high school bands will join the Marching Golden Flashes to perform together throughout the game and during halftime.
There will also be a pre-game youth cheer and dance clinic. Aspiring young cheerleaders and dancers ages 12 or younger, can sign up for the pre-game at KentStateCamps.com and the Cheer and Dance social media pages. The camp is $25 and will be in the Kent State Field House, located adjacent to Dix Stadium. Registration includes the camp and a game ticket for the camper.
Next Saturday is a NAVY out as all fans are encouraged to wear their Kent State navy blue for the game. The first 500 students will get a pair of custom KentGRIT sunglasses. It will also be Scout Day and Faith, Family and Football day for our group outings.
The Family Four Pack is back by popular demand for the Miami game and will be available for all football home games the rest of the regular season. Fans get four tickets, four hot dogs, four chips and four soft drinks for $70. Packs can be purchased at KSUTix.com and vouchers can be picked up at will call on game day.
