Last Time Out
The Golden Flashes (7-6-3, 4-4-2 MAC) drop their final regular season contest on the road, while the Eagles (6-6-5, 2-3-5 MAC) earn their second win of MAC play and complete an unbeaten season at home
Eastern Michigan jumped out to an early lead getting a goal in the fourth minute from Maddie O'Farrell. Kent State ramped up the pressure after conceding the goal but was unable to find an equalizer before the halftime break.
The Flashes worked to break down the Eagles' backline but could not find a decisive pass or shot in the attacking third. With 13 minutes on the clock Alanna Raimondo kept the Flashes in the game with a header off the line that would've given Eastern Michigan a two-goal advantage.
In the 89th minute the Flashes were threatening just like they did earlier this season against Colgate. Freshman midfielder, Katie Henahan, found some space just outside of the 18-yard box and fired a shot on goal that the Eagles' goalie just tipped over the bar.
