Previewing the Flashes
Two-time NCAA qualifier Baidy Ba has started his senior campaign with a pair of strong races. Ba won his third race as a collegian at the Tommy Evans Invitational on Aug. 30 in a 6k personal-best time of 18:11.6 and then placed sixth at the We Fly Championship Preview on Sept. 14. Graduate student Ethan Yost has posted top-17 finishes in both races this season.
Junior Nicole Kuehner and senior Sydney Miller finished 18th and 19th, respectively, to lead the women at the We Fly Championship Preview. Freshmen Alexis Tracy and Nora Salem were the first two Flashes across the finish line at the season-opening Tommy Evans Invitational and placed 22nd and 24th, respectively, last time out.
