KENT, Ohio -Â Kent State University is proud to announce the renewal of its partnership with FanWord, one of the leading storytelling companies in college sports, for a third consecutive year.
FanWord works with 50+ athletic departments across all divisions, including partnerships with schools such as Nebraska, Oklahoma, Liberty, and North Texas.
Through FanWord's signature product, FanWord Stories, Kent State student-athletes, coaches, and alumni get to share their unique personal stories and provide fans a unique glimpse into their lives on and off the field.
"The Kent State of Mind series has provided a wonderful outlet to tell some of the amazing stories of our student-athletes and their journey at Kent State," said Deputy AD/SWA Suzette McQueen. "Chris and his team have made the process easy to navigate and we are pleased to continue this partnership."
Together, Kent State and FanWord have launched the Kent State of Mind series back in 2022 which has already highlighted the unique stories of student-athletes across all sports, including Cameron Golden (Football), Burgundy Walters (Volleyball), and Amanda Winquist (Women's Soccer).Â
"Giving athletes a voice and platform to share their stories is more important than ever in this new era of college sports," said FanWord CEO, Chris Aumueller. "Kent State is doing an amazing job providing its student-athletes with opportunities to do just that which will help the athletes build their personal brand and show the community who they are outside of sports, too. And we couldn't be more excited to play a part in all of this."
All stories can be found on the Kent State of Mind page. The first story of this season will feature Allison Lee from Women's Lacrosse.
