
White’s Double-Double Leads Flashes Against Bulls

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Kent State fell to Buffalo, 3-0 (18-25, 10-25, 19-25), in a Mid-American Conference volleyball match on Saturday inside of Alumni Arena.
After allowing their host to hit at a .393 clip on Friday, the Golden Flashes (1-13, 0-4 MAC) made defensive adjustments and totaled five blocks in the opening set. Senior Anna Shoemake and redshirt sophomores Alexandria Connatser and Liliana Mechura finished the contest with three blocks each to lead the team.
Junior Kendall White recorded her sixth double-double of the season with 17 assists and 13 digs. Junior Mackenzie McGuire posted a team-high six kills and added nine digs.
Kent State is scheduled to go back on the road next week for single matches against Northern Illinois on Oct. 10 and Western Michigan on Oct. 11.
