
Six Flashes Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

KENT, Ohio- The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its Academic All-District list on Tuesday and Kent State was well-represented, with six members of the women's soccer team earning recognition for their both academically and athletically.
The 2024 Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Student-athletes needed to play in 90% of their team's game or started 66% of them while maintaining a 3.5 GPA or higher to be considered for Academic All-District honors.
Kent State's CSC Academic All-District Honorees are:
- Alisa Arthur, Senior, General Business, 3.948 GPA
- Mary Kate Lape, Junior, Nursing, 3.633 GPA
- Heidi Marshall, Senior, Journalism, 3.674 GPA
- Alanna Raimondo, Sophomore, Psychology, 3.961 GPA
- Kelsey Salopek, Junior, General Business, 3.604 GPA
- Ava Todd, Sophomore, Finance, 4.000 GPA
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced December 11.
