
Track and Field Ready for Duke Invitational

KENT – The Kent State Men's and Women's Track and Field will compete at the Duke Invitational in Durham, N.C. this weekend. This is the only meet the Flashes will compete at this weekend. The meet begins today, April 11, with the men's and women's hammer throw.
Kent has 54 athletes entered in the meet. The men will look for strong performances from the 200-meter squad of Jaheim Jones, Dejon Manning, and Sean Callahan Jr. Baidy Ba will lead the distance quad in the 1500-meter run where Trey Double and Dylan McBride will join him. Indoor MAC Champion in the high jump Liam Vinskovich will make his outdoor debut for the Flashes. For the women, Taylor Korytkowski, Azsah Bradley, Yissis Cortijo Dominc, and Amryne Chilton will all compete in the 4x100-meter relay and the 200-meter dash. Korytkowski, Bradley, and Cortijo Dominc will also run the 100-meter dash. Anna Jones will pull double duty in the 800 and 1500-meter dashes. Gabby Bailey will lead the throwers in the shot put and discus.

The Golden Flashes will head to the Jim Green Invitational in Lexington, Ky. and the 54th Sparky Adams Invitational in Berea, Ohio.
