
Flashes Add Cian Medley to 2024 Class

KENT, Ohio โ Head Coach Rob Senderoff and the Kent State men's basketball program announced the signing of Cian Medley to the 2024 class on Wednesday afternoon.ย
Medley will have three years of eligibility after spending his freshman season at Saint Louis. The Sicklerville, New Jersey native joins Deondre Jones, Jonas Nichols, Morgan Stafford, and Anthony Morales as the newest members of the Flashes.ย ย
The 6-foot guard finished his 2023-24 season playing in 33 games and averaging 22.7 minutes per contest.ย Medley prepped four years at Camden High School in New Jersey where he was the starting point guard on Camden's 2022 State Championship team. During his senior year campaign,ย Medley averaged 7.7 points and 6.6 assists per game while helping lead the Panthers to a 23-3 record.ย
"Medley is someone we recruited out of high school, and we are very pleased to have him attend Kent State upon transferring from Saint Louis," Senderoff said. "Cian had a very successful freshman year where he continued to improve throughout the season. He has a great work ethic and has been a winner and a leader everywhere he has played."
