
Track and Field set to compete at Kentucky, Baldwin-Wallace

KENT – The Kent State Men's and Women's Track and Field are set to compete at the Jim Green Invitational and the 54th Sparky Adams Invitational in Lexington, Ky., and Berea, Ohio. The Jim Green Invitational will take place tomorrow, April 19th, and Saturday, April 20th with the Sparky Adams will be contested on Saturday only.
The men will look for strong performances in the 100-meter dash from Jaheim Jones and Sean Callahan Jr. Quintin Cooks will look to continue his hot streak in the 800-meter run. Baidy Ba will lead the distance quad in the 1500-meter run where Trey Double and Dylan McBride will join him. In the field events, Alexandre Malanda is set to compete in the triple jump. For the women, Ruby Greenwood will run the 200 and 400-meter dashes. Then she will team up with Amryne Chilton, Taylor Korytkowski, and Jericha Petrella in the 4x400-meter relay. Karsyn Spears will lead the distance squad in the 800 and 1500-meter runs. Reigning MAC Field Athlete of the Week Gabby Bailey and Aliesha Shaw will throw the shot put and discus.
