4/20/2024 6:32:00 PM | Women's Golf
KENT, Ohio – The Kent State women's golf team will begin its quest for a 25th-straight Mid-American Conference Championship on Sunday. The three-day event will take place April 21-23 at the par-72, 6,201-yard Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City, Ohio. All three days will be streamed live on ESPN+.
Since 1999, there has only been one team to hoist the MAC Championship trophy – Kent State. The Golden Flashes have never lost a conference championship and enter this weekend as the favorite to win once again as the highest-ranked team in the conference.
Kent State has finished the season strong, including a fourth-place finish at the Jackrabbit Invitational a month ago and a sixth-place result last weekend at the Lady Buckeye Invitational. Veronika Kedronova earned her third MAC Golfer of the Week award after scoring a one-over 217 to tie for fourth individually in Columbus.
This year's field includes, Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Northern Illinois, Ohio, Toledo and Western Michigan.
Tee times start at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday. Live scoring can be found here.
