
Flashes Set for Flash Bowl II on Saturday Evening

KENT- Spring football wraps this weekend with Flash Bowl II, the annual spring game set for a 6 p.m. start inside Dix Stadium.
The spring will feature guest coaches, head men's basketball coach Rob Senderoff and head women's basketball coach Todd Starkey, who will lead the Blue and Gold teams, respectfully.
The game will be a traditional spring game with the team being split evenly between the two teams. It will be a full fifteen-minute running clock with a standard clock for the final two minutes of each quarter.
Halftime will feature a Kent GRIT variety show which is sure to entertain the fans.
Admission is free to the event and the first 500 fans will get a Kent GRIT backpack cooler. The Phelan Lounge, located behind the north end zone, will have an open house with a cash bar. During the regular season, the Lounge is open to members of the Golden Flashes Club, information on how to join will be available throughout the game. Fans can also purchase their favorite Golden Flashes' gear at Kent Sportswear's extended "Flash Sale", an expanded sale at the team shop located at the west entrance to the Stadium.
Season ticket information will also be available in the Lounge. Ticket packages start at $60 for the five home games. Ticket holders will have exclusive access to purchase tickets to Kent State's non-conference games at Pitt, Penn State and Tennessee on top of numerous other benefits to our season ticket holders.
Kent State will take to the field again this summer in preparation of the 2024 season. The Golden Flashes open up the 2024 season at Pitt on Saturday, August 31st and open the home slate against Saint Francis (PA) on Saturday, September 7th.
