
Six Flashes Post All-Time Top-10 Marks at Clark Wood Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Six members of the Kent State track and field program posted personal-bests that put them in the top-10 in school history during action at the Clark Wood Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
Azsah Bradley ran the fastest women's 100-meter dash by a Golden Flash in 24 years, crossing the finish line in a time of 11.65 seconds that puts her third all-time. Taylor Korytkowski clocked a time of 11.85 seconds, which places her in a tie for the ninth fastest time in program history. Bradley finished fourth and Korytkowski took seventh.
Del'Mario Hairston and Ayden Bath punched their tickets to the regional meet next month with first and second place finishes in the men's long jump. Hairston soared 24'-11.25" on his third attempt to secure the victory and No. 4 spot in Kent State history. Bath was close behind with a jump of 24'-9.75", which puts him in a tie for eighth all-time. The sophomore also raced to victory in the men's 110-meter hurdles with a wind-aided time of 13.95 seconds.
With first place in the women's hammer throw already secured, Grace Luther unleashed a heave of 187'-4" and remains at No. 8 in Flashes history.
Aliesha Shaw had the final top-10 performance with a throw of 51'-6.25" on her final attempt in the women's shot put invitational. Shaw now sits ninth all-time and placed fourth. Gabby Bailey was right behind in fifth with a season-best mark of 51'-5". Bailey also recorded top-five finishes in the women's javelin (121'-3") and women's discus throw invitational (180'-11").
Kent State will head to the WVU Last Chance Meet for the final regular season competition on May 4.
