Gabby Bailey Named MAC Scholar-Athlete of the Week

CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference announced today the winners of this week's scholar-athletes of the week. Graduate student Gabby Bailey was the women's winner this week. The scholar-athlete of the week is awarded to a student-athlete who has a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and performs well in that week's competition.

Bailey won the women's discus throw at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational with a MAC-leading mark of 187' 3" in the women's discus throw. Gabby's throw leads the MAC by over 14 feet and ranks her 14^th in the country. Bailey is a graduate student in Kent State's Sport Administration program.
