
Men's Track and Field concludes season at NCAA East Regionals

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kent State Men's Track and Field team completed the third day of competition at the NCAA East Regional meet, hosted by the University of Kentucky this afternoon.
Competing for the Flashes today were the 4x100-relay team of Logan Doyle, Sean Callahan Jr., Dejon Manning, and Jaheim Jones. Jones also ran the 200-meter dash, while Liam Vinskovich high jumped and Ayden Bath ran the 110-meter hurdles.
The 4x100 was first on the track for Kent and finished 19th with a time of 40.79. Bath placed 20th with a time of 13.96 seconds in the hurdle race after qualify for the final on Wednesday. In the high jump Vinskovich cleared 6' 8.25" and bowed out of the competition at the next height.
In the 200 Jaheim Jones finished 13th in a time of 20.48 seconds, narrowly missing the 12th spot to make the trip to Eugene, Ore. in two weeks.
