KENT, Ohio – Kent State gymnastics head coach Brice Biggin has announced that Tim Levandowski is joining the program as an assistant coach. He joins the Flashes from Brown, where he served as an assistant coach last season.
In his lone season at Brown, Levandowski acted as the primary uneven bars coach and a spotter across all events. During his time with the Bears, Brown had one NCAA regional floor qualifier, six USAG collegiate nationals individual qualifiers, six USAG first-team all-Americans, and a third-place finish at the Gymnastics East Conference (GEC) Championships.
Before coaching at Brown, Levandowski worked in various roles at the club level and in division three with Wisconsin – Eau Claire. Additionally, he earned a bachelor's degree in music production from the Berklee College of Music.
"We are very excited to be able to bring in Tim Levandowski as our new assistant women's gymnastics coach," Biggin said. "Tim brings in a wealth of experience having coached at the division three level, the private club level, and most recently the division one level at Brown University! Â He has the ability to coach floor, vault, and uneven bars and is a strong spotter who will be invaluable to our team! Â His enthusiasm will be contagious and the team is really looking forward to welcoming him into our Flash Family!"
