Wrestling Winless on Weekend Road Trip

Kent, OH- The Golden Flashes went 0-3 this past weekend, falling to Lock Haven, Clarion, and Long Island University.
Kent State fell to Lock Haven on Friday night by a score of 42-6. Tyeler Hagensen was the lone Golden Flash victory picking up the fall in 4:52.
The Golden Flashes then wrestled Clarion and LIU on Sunday. The Flashes were defeated 23-12 by Clarion. Adan Benavidez, Jordan Decatur, Carson Miller, and Blake Schaffer all won by decision for the Flashes.
Kent State then wrestled LIU and lost 24-12. Adan Benavidez and Blake Schaffer earned decisions for the Flashes. Jordan Decatur and Carson Miller each won by major decision.
Kent State will have a little time off before traveling to Athens, OH to take on the Ohio Bobcats on February 7 for the annual "Grudge Match." Wrestling will start at 7 PM.
