Golden Flashes Journey to Bowling Green for Tuesday Night Matchup

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio โ Kent State Men's Basketball (17-8) will take on the Bowling Green State University Falcons on the road on Tuesday, Feb. 18. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at the Stroh Center. Kent State will be looking to extend their winning streak to five straight games.
Last Time Out
On Friday, Feb. 14 Kent State bested the Bobcats of Ohio University 76-75. Cian Medley's 24 points were a new career high surpassing his 22 dropped against Toledo on Jan. 21. It was his third time leading the roster in scoring this season. Jalen Sullinger scored 18 for his 17th double-digit game of the season, and the 64th of his career. Jamal Sumlin scored 10 for his fourth double-digit performance of the season. VonCameron Davis' 10 points marked his 19th double-digit performance of the season and the 54th of his career. Delrecco Gillespie led Kent State in rebounds for the fourth straight game pulling down 12. It was his third game of the season with double-digit rebounds.

Bowling Green enters with a record of 10-15 and a record of 4-8 in the MAC; most recently they defeated Buffalo 63-59 on Feb. 15. Head Coach Todd Simon is in year-two at the helm of the BGSU Men's Basketball program entering his fourth matchup with Kent State with an overall record of 30-29. Kent State's overall record against Bowling Green is 84-88 having won the last 11 straight meetings including the most recent one on Jan. 28, 2025 by a 75-57 final score.
