Kent State Sweeps MAC Field Athlete of the Week Awards

CLEVELAND – Kent State student-athletes Donovan Crawford and Keeli Dunaway were recognized for their outstanding performances this past weekend at the Doug Raymond Invitational with Mid-American Conference Field Athlete of the Week honors, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Crawford placed second in weight throw with a mark of 63'-5" that is more than two inches better than any other MAC competitor has recorded this season. Five of Crawford's attempts when further than 19m on Friday, while the next best throw in the MAC this season is 18.64m.
Dunaway won the triple jump with a personal-best of 41'-5.75" that ranks 70th in the NCAA and moves her into a tie for the No. 4 spot in the Kent State record book.
The Golden Flashes will be back in action on Saturday at the AU Last Chance meet.
