Crawford Earns MAC Field Athlete of the Week Honor

CLEVELAND – Kent State redshirt junior Donovan Crawford was named Mid-American Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Crawford unleashed a MAC-leading heave of 64' 0.25" to set a personal-best and place fourth in weight throw at the Penn State National Open. Crawford ranks 90th on the NCAA performance list this season and beat his previous PR by more than three feet.
Kent State returns to action at Ashland's Jud Logan Light Giver Open on Friday, Feb. 7 and Saturday, Feb. 8.
