Kent State-NIU Softball Series Opener Suspended, to Resume on Sunday

KENT, Ohio – The series opener between Kent State and Northern Illinois on Saturday was suspended with two outs in the top of the seventh inning and the Golden Flashes holding an 8-7 lead.
The teams will return to Devine Diamond on Sunday at 11 a.m. to finish the game.
Kent State will then hold its Senior Day ceremony prior to the two remaining games of the series being played.
