
Casey and Jatczak Earn ABCA All-Region First Team Honors

KENT, Ohio – Kent State standouts Jake Casey and Hayden Jatczak have been selected to the ABCA All-East Region First Team, American Baseball Coaches Association announced on Tuesday.
The duo headlined one of the most prolific offenses in program history, as the Golden Flashes hit a record 29 triples and posted runs scored (531) and RBIs (448) totals that are the second most in a single season. Additionally, Kent State ranked fourth nationally in runs per game (9.0).
Casey earned All-MAC First Team honors after a fantastic season. In 2025, he posted a .356 batting average with 74 hits, 74 runs, 17 home runs, and 55 RBIs while appearing in all 56 games. Casey also added 20 doubles and 20 stolen bases.
Jatczak dominated MAC competition throughout the 2025 campaign, leading the Golden Flashes in virtually every major offensive category. The talented hitter posted a stellar .376 batting average while collecting 80 hits, driving in 81 runs, and crossing home plate 79 times. Jatczak also had 17 home runs and led the nation with 28 doubles.
