
Kent State’s Hayden Jatczak Signed with the San Francisco Giants

KENT, Ohio –– Kent State third baseman Hayden Jatczak signed with the San Francisco Giants.
"I'm so proud of Hayden and excited for what lies ahead for him with the San Francisco Giants," said Head Baseball Coach Jeff Duncan. "This opportunity is well-earned, and I have no doubt he'll make the most of it. The Giants are getting a special player and competitor."
Jatczak spent one season with the Golden Flashes and was the nation's leader in doubles with 28 while also ranking in the top 10 in runs scored (79), RBIs (81), and slugging percentage (.770). He posted a stellar .376 batting average, totaling 80 hits, 16 home runs, four triples, and 10 stolen bases.
Jatczak was named the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Player of the Year and an ABCA/Rawlings All-American.
