
Flashes finish the Air Force Quad Meet with a 193.150

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Kent State gymnastics team fell to fourth place at the Air Force Quad Meet on Friday afternoon, posting a 193.150 at Cadet West Gymnasium. Host Air Force won the meet with a 195.225, followed by Boise State (194.050) and Eastern Michigan (193.750).
The Golden Flashes (3-3) struggled on beam and were unable to match the consistent performances that led to their first three victories of the season.
ROTATION 1 – BEAM
Kent State opened on the balance beam and posted its lowest event score of the day with a 47.950. Heidi Schultz led the Flashes with a 9.775 to tie for sixth place in the meet, while Mya Migliore and Gabby Riley each posted 9.650s.Â
ROTATION 2 – FLOOR
The Flashes bounced back on floor exercise with a 48.500, their highest score of the afternoon. Jersey Bingman and Charlie Behner tied for sixth in the event with matching 9.750s, while Ashley Morgan added a 9.725 for ninth place. Zoe Rankin contributed a 9.650, and Dani Fuertez rebounded from her beam struggles with a 9.625.
ROTATION 3 – VAULT
Kent State posted a 48.425 on vault, led by Charlie Behner's 9.800, which tied for second in the meet. Taylor Archambeau earned a 9.725 to tie for seventh, while Jersey Bingman added a 9.700. Zoe Rankin scored a 9.625, with Avery Compson and Ashley Morgan each posting 9.575.
ROTATION 4 – BARS
The Golden Flashes closed the meet with a 48.275 on the uneven bars. Heidi Schultz and Charlie Behnertied for fifth place in the event with scores of 9.750. Dani Fuertez added a 9.725. Sophia Balko contributed a 9.575, and Nastia Rudnitskaya had a 9.475, but the Flashes were unable to make up ground on the leaders.
