KENT, Ohio – Kent State University student-athletes will host the Kent State community for Team IMPACT's annual All In Field Day on Sunday, November 8, from 2 - 4 p.m. in the Kent State Field House.
This nationwide event brings the community together for a common cause, raising critical funds to reach more kids and teams who can benefit from its unique program. As a campus partner, Kent State Athletics aims to raise $2,000.
"The goal of the Field Day is to bring the Kent State community together for a fun afternoon while supporting a great cause," said Kent State lacrosse student-athlete and campus ambassador, Davanee McNairy. "We want to raise awareness and funds for a program that gives children facing serious illnesses and disabilities the chance to experience what it means to be part of a team. We hope this event brings people together and shows how something as simple as sports can make a lasting difference in someone's life. The event is a chance to celebrate Kent's partnership with the program and everything we have accomplished, as well as continue to spread awareness about the program."
Last year's field day invited guests to walk laps around the Field House and participate in games and activities in support of Team IMPACT. Those interested in donating and/or participating in the 5k can click HERE.
Kent State Athletics has welcomed several Team IMPACT members to its program through recent matches in men's basketball, field hockey, and lacrosse.
