
Leuenhagen Cards 143 to Lead Kent State at Kepler Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Christoffer Leuenhagen paced Kent State through the opening two rounds of the Robert Kepler Invitational, carding rounds of 71-72 -143 to lead the Golden Flashes into Sunday's final round at Columbus Country Club. Leuenhagen sits 19th individually through 36 holes.
Leuenhagen highlighted his opening round with an eagle on the par-5, 491-yard eighth hole on the way to a 1-under-par 71. He followed it up with an even-par 72 in the second round, standing as the low score of the day for Kent State.
Darcy Hogg shot a 2-under-par 70 in the opening round, closing his day with four birdies on holes three, five, seven and eight. Hogg finished with a 76 in the second round for a 146 through 36 holes. James Newton also carded a 70-76—146, with one hole each round the difference between a good score and a great one.
Isaiah Ibit posted rounds of 74-73 - 147, while Liam Curtis added a 77-75 - 152 through 36 holes.
The Golden Flashes sit T10 in the team standings at +5 through two rounds. Minnesota leads the 54-hole event at -18, with Ohio State (-10) and Miami (OH) (-9) rounding out the top three.
The final round tees off Sunday morning at 7:45 a.m.
