
Carbajo Ré named to Golf Pride WGCA Assistant Coach of the Year Watch List

Kent State Dr. Paula Treckel women's golf assistant coach Manuela Carbajo Ré was named to the first 2026 Golf Pride WGCA Assistant Coach of the Year Watch List Thursday.
Carbajo Ré is one of 15 Division I assistant coaches named to the 2026 list.
Carbajo Ré joined Kent State in October 2023, and in three seasons on the staff she has coached eight All-MAC first- and second-team selections, six All-MAC Tournament selections and three Mid-American Conference championship squads.
Carbajo Ré began her professional career on the Epson Tour: Road to the LPGA from 2017 to 2018 and was a member of the Ladies European Tour in 2019. A member of the Argentine National Team for 12 years, her résumé includes five South American championships.
Collegiately, Carbajo Ré competed for the University of Georgia from 2012 to 2016, earning Golfweek Magazine All-America honors, All-SEC second-team and All-SEC Freshman Team honors during the 2013 season.
Following her playing career with the Bulldogs, Carbajo Ré served as a graduate assistant coach from 2016 to 2017.
