MAC Announces Times, TV Designations for Select Kent State Football Games

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced an updated 2026 football schedule Wednesday featuring game times and television designations for the first three weeks of the season and four MACtion matchups.
Seven Kent State games have confirmed times and/or network designations.
The Golden Flashes open the 2026 season on Saturday, September 5, at South Carolina, with kickoff set for 12:45 p.m. ET on the SEC Network. Two weeks later, Kent State travels to Columbus to face Ohio State on Saturday, September 19, at Noon ET on FOX.
The Flashes' home opener against Wofford on September 12 is set for Noon ET on ESPN+. Later in the fall, Kent State makes a cross-country trip to Sacramento State on Friday, October 30 at 10:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
Three midweek MACtion contests also have confirmed designations. Kent State travels to Bowling Green on Tuesday, November 10 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2, ESPNU, or CBS Sports Network, hosts Miami (OH) on Tuesday, November 17 at 7 p.m. ET on the same network options, and travels to Eastern Michigan on Tuesday, November 24 at 7 p.m. ET^ on ESPN2 or ESPN+.
All remaining game times and television assignments will be announced 12 days before the scheduled game date. The 30th MAC Football Championship Game is scheduled for Saturday, December 5 at Noon ET on ESPN from Ford Field in Detroit.
