Struck out a career-high five batters in back-to-back appearances at Dayton March 26 and against Malone April 2.

Lettered three years in baseball and basketball and one year in football at North Canton Hoover
Named First Team All-League, All-District, All-County, and All-State as a senior and was named to the Rawlings Preseason All-Midwest Team
Went 5-2 on the mound with a 1.47 ERA while hitting .360 with 16 RBIs
Was Second Team All-League and Preseason All-Ohio as a junior, hitting .340 with 33 RBIs
Also played for Ohio Elite and Midwest Redbirds

Parents are Nick and Robinne
Has two siblings, Makenna and Peyton
Father pitched at Mount Vernon Nazarene University and his mom played basketball there
His uncle Jim Barton pitched at Akron and played professionally in the Chicago White Sox organization
Enjoys fishing and spending time with family and friends
Lists his father as the person he most admires because he is the best role model he could ask for an he also introduced him to baseball
Is creeped out by snakes
Pre-game ritual is to pray and listen to music
Would like to visit Aruba
