• Father Richard Carey, played football at the University of Idaho 1985-89. Richard played professionally in the National Football League for the Cincinnati Bengals '89, Buffalo • Bills '90 and the Atlanta Falcons '91.
• He was a member of the Canadian Football League's Las Vegas Posse in '93, and was a member of the Arena Football Cincinnati Rockers in 1994-95 and was a member of the 1996 Tampa Bay Storm World Champions.
