• Named to All-MAC Second Team
• Led team with 143 tackles, which were the fifth most in FBS and second most in the Mid-American Conference
• Named to Phil Steele's All-MAC Team
• Recorded 11 tackles to go along with 2.5 tackles for loss in a 17-13 losing effort to Arkansas State in the GoDaddy.com Bowl
• Led both sides with 13 tackles in the 44-37 losing effort Nov. 30 against Northern Illinois
• Matched a career high with 16 tackles to go along with a sack, forced fumble, and two tackles for loss in the 28-6 victory Nov. 23 over Ohio
• Surpassed 100 tackles on the season during the 31-24 victory Nov. 17 at Bowling Green
• Recorded nine tackles, two pass breakups, and recovered a fumble in the 35-24 victory Nov. 3 against Akron and has had 52 tackles the last four games
• Named MAC Defensive Player of the Week and earned Honorable Mention as National Linebacker of the Week by College Football Performance Awards for his play in the victory at Rutgers
• Led the Golden Flashes with 13 tackles while also recording a sack, an interception, and a tipped pass that resulted in an interception during the 35-23 victory at Rutgers
• Was named co-National Linebacker Performer of the Week by College Performance Awards

Prior To Kent State
• Second-team All-Ohio selection and conference defensive MVP his senior season when he recorded 130 tackles for the second consecutive year

• Two-time all-league and all-district honoree

• Helped team to region title as a sophomore and back-to-back conference crowns in 2006 & ‘07
