2013 Senior Season
• Named to All-MAC Second Team• Led team with seven pass breakups
• Was fourth on the team with 60 tackles
• Recorded his first interception of the season during the loss at Ball State
• Voted defensive captain by teammates
2012 Junior Season
• Finished the year with 58 tackles, three tackles for loss, three sacks, and two interceptions
• Named East MVP of MAC Championship game for his standout performance against Northern Illinois
• Named 2013 Male Athlete of the Year (athletics, academics, community service) at Ebony Achievement Awards
• Recorded 10 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, and recovered a fumble during the 44-37 loss Nov. 30 to Northern Illinois
• Recorded a sack and three pass breakups in the 48-32 victory Nov. 10 over Miami
• Named MAC East Defensive Player of the Week as well as National Defensive Back Performer of the Week honorable mention from National Football Performance Awards
• Recorded his first two interceptions of the season in the 23-7 victory Sept. 19 at Buffalo
2011 Sophomore Season
• Made two tackles at Alabama, before suffering a concussion
• Had a career-high seven tackles at Ohio, including his first sack
• Made first career start at Northern Illinois
• Matched career-highs of seven tackles and five solo stops and made first career interception against Bowling Green
• Played in 10 games, starting four
2010 Redshirt Freshman Season
• Appeared in all 12 games
• Made a career-high five tackles at Miami
• Returned a kickoff at Toledo
2009 Freshman Season
• Redshirted after suffering a season-ending injury in the final preseason scrimmage
Prior To Kent State
• Was a three-time all-state selection as a cornerback, wide receiver and kick returner at Virginia Episcopal School
• Made 39 catches for 1,139 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior
• Also lettered in basketball and track, winning the state title in the 200 meters and setting the school long jump record (22’-6”) as a junior
• Played for Kyle Alexander at V.E.S. and Robert Prunty at Hargrave
• Enrolled at Kent State in the spring of 2009 and practiced with the team
