2014 JUNIOR SEASON
• Had 16 relief appearances with a 4.41 ERA, 0-2 record and 12 strikeouts
• First appearance on the season was 0.2 hitless innings at Arizona on Feb. 16
• Longest outing of the season was 1.2 innings at Wright State with no hits, no runs, no walks and two strikeouts
• Had one postseason appearance, throwing one inning during NCAA Regionals against Louisville. Did not allow a run, hit or walk

2013 SOPHOMORE SEASON
• Threw 10.2 innings in 9 appearances, recording a 2-1 record and a 2.53 ERA with 8 strikeouts.
• Went 2 innings against Toledo April 2nd, striking out one while allowing one hit to earn first win of the season.
• Did not allow an earned run in last six appearances of the season. Allowed only two hits, while striking out seven and compiling 8 innings during this time.
• Went 2 innings against Ohio April 5th, recieving his second win of the season while allowing no hits and no runs.

2012 FRESHMAN SEASON
• Pitched 28.2 innings in 20 appearances, finishing with a 2.83 ERA (third for relievers) and a 1-0 record. Had 26 strikeouts and an opposing batting average of .237. Also notched three saves.
• First career outing came February 18 at Winthrop, going one inning with two strikeouts.
• Added two strikeouts again in second career appearance on March 9 at New Mexico State.
• Threw 4.1 innings in 21-inning NCAA Regional game, striking out four while only giving up two hits and one run.
• Pitched one inning in NCAA Super Regionals at Oregon and one inning in College World Series versus Florida. Combined for two strikeouts and two walks and did not allow a hit or run in either game.

2011 SEASON
• Redshirted.

PRIOR TO KEN STATE
• An all-county and all-conference selection at Avon High School under head coach Frank DeSmit.
• Also competed for the Ohio Orioles under head coach D.J. Santiago in addition to playing for the Midwest Redbirds and competing in the East Coast Pro Showcase.

• Son of Jeff Pierce, Belinda Borders, Lisa Pierce and Kevin Borders. Siblings are Jeff Pierce and Lauren Borders.
