2010 Freshman Season Highlights
•Made nine appearances as a reliever.
•Went 2-0 with a 6.61 ERA four strikeouts over 16.1 innings.
•Tossed 3.1 scoreless innings to earn the mound triumph in relief duty as the Flashes downed Pittsburgh (4/7), 19-6.
•Struck out a personal season-high two batters over 2.2 innings to pick up his second win in a 17-11 Kent State triumph over Niagara (5/4).
•Competed for the Licking County Settlers of the Great Lakes League in summer ball, tallying one victory and 10 strikeouts in six appearances and 15.2 innings.
Prior to Kent State
•Earned three letters while pitching for Gahanna Lincoln under head coach Mike Shade.
•Threw the only no-hitter in the history of the Lions’ baseball program.
•Named an Under Armour All-American, recording a 16-5 record.
•Was primarily used as a closer and recorded the most saves on his team his junior and senior seasons.
