2009 Junior Season
Appeared in five games with three starts...had only one hit, which was a three-run home run in KSU's season-opening 18-2 win over UNC Greensboro...added an RBI groundout and a sacrifice fly for five RBI on the season...was redshirted.
2008 Sophomore Season
Started 37 of 46 games…totaled 47 hits, 22 of which went for extra bases…hit .318 and drove in 34 runs…posted a fielding percentage of .986, third best on team…went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI at Akron (5/11)…homered in a 3-for-6 outing and plated three runs at Miami (5/16)…cracked a double and a triple for two of his three hits and drove in four runs against Northern Illinois (5/23) in MAC Tournament action.
2007 Freshman Season
Appeared in 51 games, starting 49…had 33 hits, nine of which for extra bases, and 17 RBI…hit .193 for the year…had 112 putouts, four assists and three errors for a .975 fielding percentage…went 2-for-4 with a season-high three runs and four RBI against The Citadel (3/3)…both hits against The Citadel were for extra bases (double and home run).
High School
Earned four varsity letters at Howland…named to All-Metro Athletic Conference Team in three consecutive seasons…earned Team MVP honors as a sophomore and junior…in a 2005-06 Trumbull County coaches poll, was unanimously selection as most explosive player…was coached by Tom Eschman…earned three varsity letters in basketball.

Born May 17, 1988…son of Marlin and Johanne Bartholomew…has two older siblings, Jena and Jordan…majoring in exercise physiology.
