2008: Made 37appearances, all coming in relief...had his best season at Kent Statesetting career bests with 37.1 innings pitched, 50 strikeouts, foursaves, two wins and a 2.17 ERA...his 2.17 ERA was a team-best as washis .155 batting average against...struck out four or more batters fivetimes...did not allow an earned run from March 26 to May 15, a span of11 appearances and 18.7 innings pitched...tossed 3.1 innings, strikingout five to pick up his first win of the year vs. Buffalo (5/2)...withthe game tied and the bases loaded with no outs in the MAC tournamentagainst Central Michigan (3/21), struck out a pinch hitter and thenforced a double play ball to get out of the jam with no runsscores...struck out four over the course of three shutout innings toearn the save against Central Michigan to open up the Mid-AmericanConference Championships.
Summer 2007: Threw23.1 innings for the Southern Ohio Copperheads of the Great LakesSummer Collegiate League...led the team with 33 strikeouts.
2007: Appearedin 19 games as a reliever with a 1-1 record...allowed nine runs and 18hits and struck out 21 over 19 innings for a 4.26 ERA...gave up no runsand one hit in an inning of relief for his first collegiate win overWestern Michigan (3/24).
