Began his collegiate career at Chipola Junior College under head coach Jeff Johnson…helped the Indians to state and regional championships in the 2008 season…named First Team All-Panhandle Conference in 2008…earned four letters in baseball in high school under head coach Craig Faulkner…led the Indians to four district championships, culminating in a state title his senior season…also named All-Florida in 2007…hit .346 for his career with seven home runs and 98 RBI…was 2-1 with a 1.50 ERA his senior season.
