Summer 2007: Threw 15 scoreless innings for the Columbus All-Americans of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League.2007: Appeared in 20 games out of the bullpen for KSU...had a 2-1 record with a 2.75 ERA...recorded a save in the Golden Flashes first win of the season, a 10-4 victory over Florida (2/23)..threw four innings and allowing one hit and one earned run and struck out in 16 batters faced...threw four innings of shutout baseball and tallied the win in the second game of the MAC tournament against Miami (5/24)...threw a 1-2-3 ninth inning to earn the save in the final MAC tournament game against Eastern Michigan (5/26)...Named to the MAC All-Tournament Team...was third on the team with 36 strikeouts...led all KSU pitchers in opponent batting average (.170)...allowed 25 hits and 13 earned runs in 42.1 innings.
2006: Appeared in 19 games in relief... Finished 3-0 with the lowest ERA (2.90) in the team’s bullpen... Struck out 26 batters in 40.1 innings... Had 11 different appearances without allowing a run... Went 2-0 with one save and an ERA of 1.74 in nine MAC appearances... Earned a win at Ohio (4/29) after tossing 3 2/3 scoreless innings... Registered first career save vs. Miami (4/22) after 2 1/3 scoreless innings... Struck out four in 2 2/3 scoreless innings at Alabama (2/18)... Pitched for the Columbus All-Americans in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League.
2005: Appeared in six games and started one... Posted a 1-0 record with 12 strikeouts... Threw three scoreless innings and allowed just one hit vs. Cleveland State (4/13)... Allowed just one run over four innings vs. Long Island (3/18).
High School: Was a two-year letter winner at Poland Seminary High School... Named to the All-Metro Athletic Conference and All-NE Ohio regional first teams as a senior... Also earned second-team All-MAC honors as a junior... Helped Bulldogs to back-to-back district championships... Also earned two letters in golf and one in football... Was coached by Richard Murray.
