2008-09 Freshman Season

Indoor Track and Field – Her season personal-best time in the mile run was a 6:03.26 at the Akron Open…clocked a 12:45.25 at the Kent State Tune-Up, her fastest of the season.

Outdoor Track and Field – Timed at 11:59.14 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Northeast Ohio Quad for her fastest finish of the season…season personal-best time in the 1,500-meter run was a 5:45.30 at the Campbell-Wright Open.

Prior to Kent State

Selected to the All-Pioneer Conference team and received the Coach’s Award as a senior at North Royalton High School…honorable mention all-conference selection as a junior…served as a captain for NRHS as a junior and senior…member of the 2006 district and 2007 Pioneer Conference championship teams…also participated for the three-time (2005, 2006, and 2007) regional qualifying teams…earned three letters in cross country and three in track and field.

Born August 5, 1990…daughter of Mark and Helen Fascione…sisters Jeanna and Jenny were members of the Golden Flashes’ cross country and track and field teams from 2001 to 2006…majoring in pre-medicine.
