
Kent State Cross Country to Start 2025 Season at Wooster Invitational

Kent State will start its 2025 cross country season at the Wooster Invitational on Friday. Action will take place at the L.C. Boles Memorial Golf Course.
The women's 4K is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and the men's 4-mile will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Previewing the Flashes
Laura Rybka enters her second season at the helm and has rebuilt the Golden Flashes' roster with 20 newcomers, including 14 true freshmen.
Jack Curtis and Rylan Winkler are the lone returners for the men and look to have strong junior campaigns. Senior Nicole Kuehner and sophomore Nora Salem are the top returners on the women's side.
The Field
The Golden Flashes will compete against six other schools – Cleveland State, Otterbein, Baldwin Wallace, Lorain County Community College, Muskingum and Wooster.
