Tracy Places Sixth at All-Ohio Classic

CEDARVILLE, Ohio — Junior Alexis Tracy led the Kent State cross country teams at the All-Ohio Classic on Friday and placed sixth in the women's 6K.
Running her first 6K race since the 2024 Mid-American Conference Championships, Tracy crossed the finish line in 22:30.2, which is nearly 90 seconds faster than her previous best time at that distance.
Junior Nora Salem and senior Ella McCollom also ran strong races for the Golden Flashes. Salem finished 31st in 23:33.3 and McCollom was right behind in 23:34.8 for 32nd place.
Freshman Kole Hyer led Kent State in the men's 8K in 26:37.2 to finish 55th.
Notre Dame's Joe Piane Invitational on Friday, Oct. 2 is next on the schedule for Kent State.
