Cross Country Heads to All-Ohio Classic on Friday

Kent State continues the cross country season on Friday and will compete at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Classic, hosted by Cedarville at Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.
The women's 6K is set to begin at 6 p.m. followed by the men's 8K at 6:40 p.m.
Previewing the Flashes
The Golden Flashes opened the season with some strong individual performances at the Tommy Evans Invitational on Sept. 4. Sophomore Michael Hanselman placed third in the men's 6K race with a time of 18:32.9. Sophomore Tanner Smith also completed the course in under 19:00.0 and finished 12th.
Junior Alexis Tracy was the top finisher in the women's 5K race and placed sixth in 18:46.8. Senior Ella McCollom and juniors Nora Salem, Gianna Pedone and Emerson Greene each clocked sub-20:00.0 times and finished in the top 20.
