2008-09 Sophomore Season

Cross Country – Posted a season personal-best finish at the MAC Championships, timing in at 25:05.9 to earn Second-Team All-MAC honors.

Indoor Track and Field – Clocked a season personal-best in the mile run at the Tyson Invitational with a time of 4:09.82…finished fourth in the mile run at the MAC Championships courtesy of a time of 4:10.41…won the 800-meter run at the Kent State Dual in 1:55.07…member of the distance medley relay team that won the event at the Sykes-Sabock Challenge Cup in 9:51.90.

Outdoor Track and Field – Did not compete.

2007-08 Freshman Season

Cross Country - Took 26th at the MACChampionships with a time of 25:51.9...finished third at the FalconInvitational with his season-best time of 25:21.37.

Indoor Track and Field - Ran the opening leg of theGolden Flashes’ distance medley relay team that finished second overallwith a time of 9:59.02 at the 2008 Mid-American ConferenceChampionships…that performance earned him All-MAC Second Teamhonors…ran season-best 8:34.20 in the 3,000 meters at the AkronDual…recorded the Golden Flashes’ fastest time in the mile when hecrossed the finish line in 4:10.05 at the Sykes-Sabock Challenge…ran aseason-best 15:04.24 in the 5,000 meters at the Golden Flash Gala.

Outdoor Track and Field - Recorded a season-best 3:53.04 in the 1,500 meters at the Duke Invitational…ran a team-season-best time of 8:36.44 in the 3,000 meters at the Akron Quad…established a personal-best in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:11.78 at the Drake Relays…had the Golden Flashes’ top time in the mile when he crossed the line in 4:14.78 at the Jesse Owens Classic.

Prior to Kent State
State runner-up in track in the mile and as a senior at Woodridge High School...earned All-Ohio honors in cross country as a junior and sophomore for the Bulldogs...also finished as a state runner-up in the mile as a senior...holds the Bulldogs’ school record in the 1,600 meters (4:07.57) and the Distance Medley Relay...member of the WHS cross country state champions in 2006...was a Nike Team national qualifier in cross country that same season.
