2007 junior Season
Played and started in all 21 games as a back...selected to 2007 ZAG/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad...recorded an assist in season opener vs. Bucknell in Columbus...took three shots, two on goal.
2006 sophomore Season
All-MAC Second Team selection...finished second on the team with seven assists, three of which came in conference play....played in 21 games, making 15 starts...named to NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.
2005 freshman Season
Started 16 of 17 games in her freshman campaign, immediately becoming an integral part of KSU’s defense...recorded lone career goal against Indiana Oct. 2...took three shots...was named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I National Academic Squad.
Prior to
Graduated Cum Laude from Oak Park High School...all-state selection in 2003 and 2004...helped Oak Park to a 2003 state championship and a runner-up finish in 2004...named Oak Park’s 2003 and 2004 Female Athlete of the Year...also a standout softball player...was a member of Oak Park’s state championship softball team in 2005 and runner-up squad in 2004.

Selected by teammates as 2008 co-captain...born Jan. 8, 1987...daughter of Allen and Peggy Bernthal...earned an undergraduate degree in psychology and is beginning graduate school in the fall of 2008.
